Installed a new 18 Seer 24K BTU Daikin Mini Split Heat Pump in the upstairs loft. The new system comes with a 20 year parts and 1 year labor warranty.
Tested system operations component amperage capacitor ratings check the refrigerant charge checked the airflow settings found both systems are cooling properly at this time one’s conditioning the air 21° and the other one’s conditioning the air 19°. I found the new stats. The security company installed are displaying a humidity reading of 4 to 5° higher than actual humidity in the home. Billable

Upon arrival I found the customer’s mini split to be just completely rusted in the coil disintegrated due to the climate conditions. The customer agreed and is interested in a new mini split condenser with three heads. I will email info over to Lee he will be in contact to schedule an appointment to go over everything I left the system as it was when I arrived.

Today I arrived on site and performed a summer tune-up. The new thermostats that the alarm company installed a few weeks ago were 3 degrees off on room temperature. The new stats had an option to calibrate and adjust display temp so I adjusted the indoor display temp by 3 degrees. The systems are cooling properly at this time, one down to 50 degrees and the other down to 53 degrees. Billable

Performed a summertime tune up on the hvac equipment. Testing system operations, component amperage’s, capacitor ratings, monitored refrigerant pressures, tested the thermostat operations, replaced all the pleated filters, dusted the return grills, and checked the condenser and evaporator coils.
