Professional experience from Office to Worksite

First entertained replacing mini split system in September… then the two hurricanes shelved the idea. When I resurrected the project the office personnel found all the previous info still in their system. Lee came out for a visual understanding and offered two potential paths to take. I requested a quote on a system with fewer bells and whistles such as WiFi connectivity. ( I have no WiFi ). An option was chosen, equipment ordered and install two days later. Completely happy with the installers. Nice young men, Darius and I just can’t remember the second. Both very competent with friendly demeanors. Only time will test the quality and longevity of the brand.

Great team effort who work hard and professionally to advance what Benson started in the early ‘80’s

Benson Greene goes as far back in Tallahassee as I do. His company is polished and very professional. From the call into Julia to the estimated time of arrival from tech Jeremy Beech. Jeremy was so pleasant and knowledgeable. Overall it was as good an experience and encounter as one can have when your a/c goes down. Great job Team Benson

Upon arrival, the customer was concerned with her son was down and a bunch of water was coming out of the closet that the air handler is in. After further inspection, I found the condenser coil, extremely rusted and leaking. The low refrigerant charge most likely caused the evaporator coil to freeze up, which would explain all the water. The coil is clear now I made sure the condensate pump and drain lines were clear as well. I then checked the pressures to find the system low on Freon. I sent an estimate to top the system off. It was approved. After adding the refrigerant, I tested the system operations and your system is cooling properly at this time. I highly recommend getting a new system install ASAP due to the age and shape of the outdoor condenser coil. I will get a proposal emailed over ASAP for options on a new system install..
